Thanksgiving Lunch

We have been invited to thanksgiving dinner for these last three years by a nice couple and we always end up too full. To balance the heavy dinner, we decided to have a healthy and light sukiyaki lunch and karaage (japanese fried chicken) for the kids.

I found these mini pumpkins and gourds from pumpkin patch near our house. They were so cute that I could not resist to purchase and use them as centerpiece.
